Art of Living founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be honored with the highest civilian award by the Parliament Assembly of Paraguay. He will be received by the President of Paraguay.
 
A conference on Peace will be held in Asunción, Paraguay on September 12 and will be led by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The National Secretary of Tourism has declared Art of Living’s conference as an event of tourist interest.
 
On September 9, Sri Sri led an unprecedented gathering of 1.5 lakh Argentines in Buenos Aires, who came together to meditate for global peace. The event, titled 'El Planeta Medita' (PhotoGallery), had thousands who joined from 300 cities across the world. Here, Sri Sri urged and inspired the youth to dedicate some time for service activities for a better Argentina.
 
Sri Sri, who was on a five-day tour of Argentina, from September 5, 2012, met and addressed an eclectic mix of people from all backgrounds. From the university students at Siglo, to prison inmates at the San Martin prison, to top CEOs and business leaders of the country, everyone listened in rapt attention to the spiritual leader.
