A case had been filed against anti corruption crusader, Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy in Mumbai under Section 153 (A) of the Indian Penal Code at the Vakola police station in Mumbai. The case was registered after the directives of the Bombay High Court.

Swamy had written an article in a newspaper a couple of months ago which is now being found as inflammatory. However, the case came interesting soon after he made his intention of investigating the vast sums of money, that Robert Badra, the son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi received in the 2G scam, once again leading to speculation that Congress will try to erase anyone who speaks against corruption, be it Baba Ramdev or Anna Hazare or Dr. Subramanian Swamy.
