Delhi Technological University students invent solar car
New Delhi, April 08(ANI): A Team of Delhi Technological University has invented a car that runs solely on solar energy in India's Capital City New Delhi. The car, christened Avenir which means the future, is driven by solar energy obtained from solar panels on the surface of the vehicle. It can run at a maximum speed of 85 Km/hr. The car uses Polycrystalline silicon cells to entrap the solar energy.
