Prez polls: UPA names Pranab, gets SP, BSP support
New Delhi, (ANI): Congress chief Sonia Gandhi today announced Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee's name as UPA's presidential candidate. She also appealed to all parties to support Mukherjee's candidature and added that there is already broad support for him. Meanwhile the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party have declared their support for Mukherjee's nomination. However, reacting on the recent development, BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain has said that the Congress didn't take BJP'S view into consideration and have taken this decision without consulting BJP.
