Narendra Modi slams Center Govt. over NCTC
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has slammed the Central Government over the proposal of anti-terrorism agency National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC). Speaking to mediapersons in Ahmedabad today, Modi said such an anti-terrorism body, which could arrest without consulting the respective state authorities would adversely affect the federal structure of the country. Modi also demanded a comprehensive discussion on report of the Sarkaria commission, set up to examine the Center-State relationship.
