Hampi train mishap, kills 14, several others injured
Penneconda / New Delhi, (ANI): Killing at least fourteen people and injuring several others, a Bangalore-bound Hampi Express has crashed into a goods train at Penneconda in Andhra Pradesh early on Tuesday. Three bogies, one sleeper class coach and two second-class coaches of the Express train have been derailed due to the collision. One of the coaches was engulfed in flames. Meanwhile the Railway Minister has announced a compensation of Rs. 5 lakh to the families of those who have been killed in the accident and 1 lakh to those who are critically injured.
