SC quashes CBI proceedings against Maya in DA case
New Delhi, (ANI): Bringing a major relief to former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP supremo Mayawati, the Supreme Court today quashed the criminal proceedings against her in the disproportionate assets case.The apex court gave the verdict while hearing on her plea, challenging the CBI probe against her. According to reports, the SC claimed CBI's action against Mayawati as 'unwarranted'.
